Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, account transitions, start-ups, or operational recovery initiatives.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, changing environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

Velociti Services is seeking a highly driven and operationally focused Manager, Operations Excellence to lead field-based operational improvement initiatives across multiple locations and business environments. This role is designed for a hands‑on leader who thrives in dynamic situations and can quickly assess operations, stabilize performance, launch new accounts, support transitions, and execute strategic improvement projects.

The Manager, Operations Excellence will serve as a deployment leader for operational start-ups, turnaround efforts, process optimization initiatives, and special projects. This individual will partner closely with regional leaders, site teams, and executive leadership to improve operational performance, standardize best practices, and drive sustainable results.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong travel flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for building operational excellence. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Start-Ups & Launch Support
  • Lead operational execution and field support for new account launches and business start-ups.
  • Develop and implement startup plans, timelines, staffing readiness, and operational processes.
  • Ensure seamless transition from implementation to ongoing operations teams.
  • Deploy into underperforming or high-priority accounts to stabilize operations and improve results.
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify root causes and implement corrective action plans.
  • Partner with field leadership to improve service delivery, labor utilization, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Operations Excellence Projects
  • Lead enterprise initiatives focused on process improvement, operational consistency, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions that improve productivity and operational outcomes.
  • Drive execution of strategic projects and change management initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with operations leaders and cross‑functional partners.
  • Coach and influence field teams through change while maintaining accountability and engagement.
  • Support leadership with reporting, project updates, and recommendations.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze operational metrics and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Establish action plans and track measurable improvements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, account transitions, start-ups, or operational recovery initiatives.
  • Proven success leading cross‑functional projects and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Ability to operate independently in fast‑paced, changing environments.
Preferred Experience:
  • Facilities services, aviation services, staffing, logistics, hospitality, or service operations experience.
  • Experience with operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, process optimization).
  • Project management and change leadership experience.
Travel Requirements:
  • Must be willing and able to travel between 50% to 75% of the time across assigned markets and business locations.
  • This is a road warrior role requiring flexibility for overnight travel, short‑notice deployment support, and extended time in the field when business needs require.
