Job description

Position Summary

Manages one or more work streams for the operations organization by designing project plans, organizing project timelines and deliverables, facilitating meetings involving stakeholder teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives, recommending appropriate operational processes, developing and managing project requests and timelines by establishing project requirements, communicating project status, details, timelines, and available resources, planning and executing resource allocation, finalizing, approving, and delivering projects, taking corrective action as necessary to drive project results, communicating project plans and deliverables to key stakeholders, identifying root causes, developing potential solutions for initiatives, and making recommendations based on data and observation.

Decision Support

Provides decision support by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data and information, providing influence and insight on current and future business trends, conducting analyses of initiatives to understand and communicate trends, translating data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies that help meet business goals.

Business Solution Implementation

Manages the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, developing new innovations and tools for site selection, continuously improving selection methodology, leveraging best practices from cross-functional partners to streamline and improve processes, analyzing and interpreting information for initiative work streams to improve business efficiency, developing creative solutions within business areas to reduce costs and meet goals, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with internal partners to support strategies and drive execution.

Financial Management

Manages activities and projects that generate revenue, offset operational expenses, mitigate loss, and influence budget spending by researching and integrating information and data, applying business measures and analyses to identify improvement opportunities, analyzing and interpreting information using various methodologies, developing creative solutions to reduce costs, and prioritizing assignments while ensuring data accuracy.

Operational Tools and Reports Development

Oversees development and improvement of operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionalities by providing direction on requirements, offering subject matter expertise, developing solutions for complex problems across multiple functions, and partnering cross-functionally with product management, merchandising, engineering, and other groups.

Team Coordination and Leadership

Coordinates and oversees activities and assignments by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, building accountability, and promoting continuous improvement. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, fostering a workplace of belonging.

Compliance and Ethical Standards

Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability. Acts as a servant leader, promoting humility, self-awareness, honesty, and transparency.

Customer and Member Service

Delivers business results with a customer/member-first approach, adopting an omni-channel mindset, and driving value through cost-effective strategies. Uses data analytics and customer insights to inform planning and team strategy, continuously seeking improvements and leveraging digital tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in operations, project management, or related areas, or 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Optional qualifications include supervising associates, a Master’s in Economics, Project Management Professional certification, and experience in project management.
