Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

1. Manage and lead a team of senior to junior level systems engineers and administrators.
2. Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Infrastructure both on-premises and in Azure cloud (DC, AD, DNS, WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, O365/M365, Exchange).
3. Support enterprise storage solutions and virtual environments.
4. Train and guide support staff in areas of expertise.
5. Identify areas of improvement and communicate them to staff and management.
6. Plan and execute projects, manage technical debt, and develop technical processes and standards.
7. Gather and analyze data to inform decision-making.
8. Support software development teams during releases and troubleshooting.
9. Support environments with customized applications and strict security standards.
10. Plan budgets and department roadmaps.
11. Drive change and motivate staff, ensuring adherence to change control and attention to detail.
12. Support organizational transformations and maintain network concepts knowledge.

Typical Duties

1. Manage risks related to infrastructure, business, and staff.
2. Provide technical guidance and manage day-to-day operations of the Systems team.
3. Ensure system compliance with security policies.
4. Represent IT interests in complex projects and escalate issues as necessary.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address system requests and solve problems.
6. Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures.
7. Identify infrastructure improvements and develop plans to address them.
8. Maintain documentation for infrastructure management.
9. Be available for management escalations during non-business hours.
10. Mentor and train junior engineers and administrators.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VMWare, ITIL, or other relevant certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant training programs.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems architecture, support, or training.
