Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Manager of Research Science to lead a team in the research and development of machine learning technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise to drive innovation and oversee cross-departmental activities. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and previous experience in high-volume manufacturing, along with a strong background in AI/ML and materials science. This is a full-time role based in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading an ML team in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience in AI solutions implementation in semiconductor environments.
• Expertise in dislocation characterization and computational modeling.
• Experience implementing AI solutions into semiconductor/manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in dislocation characterization, crystallography, semiconductor device physics and processing.
• Expertise in computational modeling of materials systems such as DFT and finite element multiphysics simulation.
