Connect for Health Colorado is a public, non-profit entity established by the Colorado General Assembly in 2011 to create a health insurance Marketplace. Since 2013, we’ve been helping individuals, families and small employers compare plans, apply for financial help and buy health insurance. As Colorado’s official health insurance marketplace, we are the only place to apply for financial help to lower the monthly cost of premiums. Position Summary:

Connect for Health Colorado seeks a Manager of Product Data Practice to lead a small, service-oriented team that helps the Product Development (PD) organization trust, use, and self-serve its data well. This role oversees our existing product data insights function, ensuring the Product organization has access to rigorous, mixed-methods insights, while also building a new data governance and quality discipline.

The ideal candidate leads people effectively while staying close to the work. This role will drive the vision and, when needed, contribute directly. Using product-management-caliber judgment, including the ability to prioritize competing asks, this role is responsible for leading change without formal authority, and communicates across technical and non-technical audiences. This role is deliberately scoped to own data governance within the Product Development organization as a discipline of standards, process, and stewardship. This role will work closely with enterprise data governance, data infrastructure, and data engineering resources. The role will participate in the Connect for Health Community of Practice that supports sharing of best practices to accelerate adoption and build networks beyond formal data governance.
