Cuhaci & Peterson is seeking a Manager of Permitting Services in Orlando, Florida. The role involves overseeing the Permitting Department, processing permits for various projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 10-12 years of experience in an architectural/engineering firm. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential. This position requires excellent judgment and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
The Manager of Permitting Services oversees the Permitting Department and works with the project team in processing permits for various projects.
A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in a professional architectural/engineering firm, government affairs experience, strong leadership, analytical and negotiating skills. Requires an understanding of architecture/engineering and building construction, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to persuasively speak before large groups. Must develop and maintain collaborative working relationships internally and externally, be a self‑starter able to organize and implement several concurrent projects, exercise sound judgment in prioritizing, and hold a valid driver's license.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, handle stressful situations and multitask, work under time constraints, long hours may be required, and lift or carry up to forty pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Overtime (40+ hours) may be required as needed.
Must be able to handle stressful situations, multitask, and work within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. Will work in a normal office environment and may also be required to work outside of a normal office from time‑to‑time.
