Job summary

ACD Distribution, LLC is seeking a Manager of IT Operations to lead planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure and services. You will oversee Windows server, Exchange, Sage X3 ERP, the corporate website integration, and ShoreTel VOIP, while guiding security, continuity, and governance across the organization.

The role emphasizes developing policies, managing a high-performing IT team, and delivering strategic tech initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service

Qualifications

• At least five years in a leadership IT role.
• At least three years of ERP system experience, preferably Sage X3.
• Experience managing IT operations in a complex environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience administering server hardware, RAID/NAS, Cisco routers, VPN, and managed switches.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL Server 2012+.
• ShoreTel VOIP system experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to translate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, disaster recovery planning, business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Windows server infrastructure, Exchange 2013, Sage X3 ERP, the public website, and ShoreTel VOIP.
• Maintain support contracts, domain renewals, and licenses.
• Provide guidance and research on projects as directed.
• Develop and implement IT policies aligned with ITIL and governance standards.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures, including network security, firewall management, and AD security.
• Plan for business continuity and disaster recovery to safeguard data and operations.

Duties

Administer, maintain, and support the following systems:

• The Windows server infrastructure
• Exchange 2013 email system
• Sage X3 ERP system and related technical and reporting systems
• ACD's public website and the integration between that site and X3
• ShoreTel VOIP system

In addition:

• Maintain various support contracts, internet domain renewals, and systems licenses.
• Provide guidance and research on projects as directed.
• Develop and implement IT policies aligned with industry best practices like ITIL to ensure effective service management and governance.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures including network security protocols, firewall management, Active Directory security, and information security compliance.
• Plan for business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and maintain operational resilience during disruptions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years in a leadership IT role.
• A minimum of three years supporting an ERP system, preferably Sage X3.
• Proven experience managing IT operations within a complex environment with supervisory responsibilities for technical teams.
• Experience administering:
• Server hardware and management software, RAID and NAS systems.
• Cisco routers, VPN, and managed switches
• Windows Server 2012 R2, including Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2013
• Microsoft Office 2010 or higher
• ShoreTel VOIP system
• Development experience in ASP.Net and VB.Net is ideal.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with time management expertise to oversee ongoing operations while driving strategic initiatives.
