Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL seeks a motivated Manager of Financial Reporting to join our finance team. You will oversee monthly consolidated financials, US GAAP reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and executive-level summaries to ensure timely close.

You will manage the close process and act as the primary contact for external auditors while leveraging SAP and Longview to deliver accurate reports and insights. A CPA and 10+ years of experience are expected.

• 10+ years of financial reporting and corporate accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for very motivated and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Reporting to join the DFJ financial reporting team. This role is responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated financials, reporting packages, US GAAP financial statements, handling of intercompany reconciliations, chairman reports, reporting system administration/maintenance, and supporting the monthly and year-end close activities to ensure timely reporting.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and expense reports for presentation to senior management
• Preparation of the semi-annual reporting package which includes a complete book (Vignette) on balance sheet accounts, and the consolidation package to the parent company
• Responsible for preparation of the annual standalone consolidated financial statements and related financial statement footnotes as per US GAAP
• Reporting system Longview administrator, maintaining the reporting tool, key reports generated from system, version and period management. Assist with the setup and maintenance of system generated reports. Ad hoc reporting from the Longview tool for different business units
• Lead month end and year-end close process/activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, maintenance of the close calendar
• Prepare monthly chairman's report and other executive level summaries
• Point of contact for the external auditors, for the year-end audit and mid-year review
• Prepare corporate accounting related journal entries, allocations of Corporate G&A, inter/intra company balancing transactions, elimination entries, and others
• Assist in technical accounting research and documentation for new pronouncements and transactions; prepare memos for internal/external use
• Leader of ASC842 lease accounting, initial lease assessments and recording, reconciliation review, and rent analysis
• Performing variance analysis actuals to forecast and budget
• Responsible for key controls related to financial reporting
• Responsible for maintaining the consolidated month-end close checklist for all groups to ensure completeness and accuracy during the close process

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Independent thinker
• Previous experience working with senior management, comfortable giving presentations
• High visibility

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• CPA required
• 10+ years of financial reporting and corporate accounting experience
• Prior experience with SAP or another large ERP system
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to take on projects without the need for close supervision or direction
• Experience with excel add-ins,
• Experience with Longview system

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work remote available once established in position 20% of time

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position typically falls between $125,000 and $155,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.

Note:the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location.
