Oklahoma State University Medical Center seeks a Manager of Facility Services to lead the Facility Services Department, drive productivity, budget compliance, and long-term planning. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Three years in management of similar functions (preferred).
• Knowledge of health care construction, building codes, and hospital systems.
• CHFM certification (preferred).

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Facility Services, the Manager of Facility Services is accountable for the goals and objectives for the Facility Services Department within the scope of the leader to include productivity, performance improvement, and operating and capital budget compliance. The manager supports strategic growth of the department through development and implementation of long-term facility planning. This position oversees all daily facility operations, including maintenance, construction, grounds, life safety, and plant operations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent required

Experience

• Three years in management of similar functions (preferred)
• Knowledge of health care construction, building codes, general knowledge of mechanical plumbing, electrical systems, and specialty hospital systems (preferred)
• General knowledge of all other local, state and federal and ACHC health and safety codes
• CHFM (preferred)
