HCA Healthcare's Medical City Denton is seeking a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to lead the radiology department, coordinate staff, and optimize imaging workflows to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and a track record of developing teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BLS required
• Minimum 5 years management in Radiology preferred, 3 years required
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required
• RT Radiologic Technologist license with Texas State Medical Board
• Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of imaging services and assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Direct human and physical resources to meet standard of care in Radiologic sciences.
• Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and accrediting standards.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Radiology team and optimize imaging workflows.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinates delivery of healthcare services assisting in diagnosis and treatment. Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in Radiologic sciences. Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment. Monitors departmental operations to assure compliance with governmental regulations and meet standards established by accrediting agencies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• 3 years or more of supervisory experience required, 5 preferred
• (ARRT-R) Radiography required
• Associate Degree required
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer licensed with the Texas State Medical Board required
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a Radiology Department preferred, 3 years required
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage and cultivate a high-performing team
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a proven ability to develop staff and support professional growth
• Visible and hands on leaders who maintains a strong presence within the department and readily supports team members in clinical operations when needed, strong engagement
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive process improvements that enhance imaging workflows, operational efficiency, and overall team performance while meeting organizational goals and expectations
• Flexibility in schedule occasionally
• Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and run staff meetings on a regular cadence
