Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA seeks a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to oversee day-to-day operations in Diagnostic Imaging Services including the Breast Care Center. You will provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Lead staffing, scheduling, workflow, and performance metrics; collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to improve outcomes, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and cost containment.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent required.
• B.A. / B.S. preferred.
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Current ARRT required.
• Current CA Fluoroscopy
• 3 years work experience in area of supervision required.
• 1-3 years of progressive hospital/ management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Requires basic understanding of and ability to utilize the Radiology Services process; Requires knowledge, ability and judgment.
• Meditech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the day to day operations of Diagnostic Imaging Services, including the Breast Care Center.
• Oversee daily workflow, staffing, scheduling, resource utilization, and departmental operations while promoting efficiency, quality, and exceptional service, and provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for department staff and students, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with physicians, nursing, and other interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication, coordinated patient care, and outstanding customer service and support quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, patient safety, employee engagement, and financial stewardship.
• Working collaboratively with the Director, you will assist in implementing departmental goals, maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, monitoring operational and quality metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, and operational performance.
• You will also serve as a clinical and operational resource for physicians, nursing staff, patients, and colleagues, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and supporting the mission, vision, and values of Good Samaritan Hospital
