HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Manager of Critical Care to oversee daily functions, staff, and patient care quality in the critical care unit.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to policies, and achieving facility goals while maintaining a patient-centered approach in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of applicable experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Critical Care ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager of Critical Care ensures monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

• Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• 3 + years of applicable experience.

• 1 + years of leadership experience.
