Job summary

UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando is seeking a Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab to lead daily operations, support clinical staff and physicians, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and 3+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. The position offers leadership growth, mentorship, and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certified.
• 3+ years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proficiencies for all technical duties involved with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular Center.
• Assists the director in providing support to clinical staff and physicians for smooth daily operations.
• Provides leadership and management of staff in implementing departmental processes.
• Responsible for the daily flow of procedures in the Cath/EP Lab, IOU, and Nuclear Cardiology departments.

Responsible for assisting the director in providing support to clinical staff and physicians to enable the operations of the Cardiovascular Center to run as smoothly as possible on a daily basis. Responsible for the quality of care provided consistent with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the organization. Provides leadership and management of the staff in the implementation of departmental processes. Participates in and materially influences the selection, development, discipline, and evaluation of staff. Responsible for the daily flow of procedures in the Cath/EP Lab, IOU, and Nuclear Cardiology departments.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• BLS and ACLS certified
• 3 + years of applicable experience
