Venteon in Southfield, MI seeks an experienced Accounting Manager for a newly created Manager, Accounting Transformation role. You will lead transformation of accounting processes, drive control design, and support IPO readiness efforts.

The role requires strong accounting expertise, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to optimize ERP and reporting infrastructures while ensuring data reliability and auditability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Active CPA license preferred.
• Master’s degree in accounting preferred.
• 4+ years in progressive financial accounting roles, with Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Experience supporting SOX and related audit requirements.
• Working knowledge of Workiva for regulatory reporting purposes.

Responsabilités

• Analyze existing accounting and finance processes; identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities.
• Implement enhancements of existing processes through redesign and remediation of risks.
• Support IPO readiness initiatives, including documentation and control design for future‑state processes and controls.
• Own documentation of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead finance transformation workstreams through standardization and optimization of financial processes.
• Support implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting infrastructure (ERP, close tools, reporting platforms).
• Support system testing and post‑implementation reviews for all finance system optimizations.
• Improve data reliability and auditability across financial processes.
• Assist with design and documentation of future‑state processes and controls.
