Financial Reporting Manager

Venteon Finance is currently engaged on a Financial Reporting Manager search for a stable long‑time manufacturing client located in the Detroit area.

Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA Designation
• 5+ Years of experience including Public Accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Technical Accounting / GAAP Research skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related footnotes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Stay current on emerging accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the company’s financial reporting
• Assess implications of new transactions or accounting standards on quarterly and annual reporting packages
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards for private companies and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support the audit process and resolve any audit‑related inquiries
• Support development of strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure the integrity of financial data
• Support Treasury’s quarterly external reporting requirements with outside lenders
