Job summary

Mercy South in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Manager - Throughput (Full-Time Exempt) to lead nursing throughput in Med Surg and Outpatient departments, ensuring safe, quality, cost-efficient care while meeting productivity goals.

The requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program (BSN preferred), current RN license, a minimum of three years nursing experience with leadership, and BLS/ACLS/PALS within 90 days of hire. Strong human relations and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Licensure

Current license in applicable State of practice for Registered Nurse.

Experience

Minimum three years nursing experience. Previous leadership/management experience preferred.

Certifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other

Demonstrates skill in human relations and communications is required. Must have broad understanding of the patient care process and be able to demonstrate clinical expertise in their area of responsibility.
