Job summary

Mercy South in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Manager - Throughput (Full-Time Exempt) to lead nursing throughput in Med Surg and Outpatient departments, ensuring safe, quality, cost-efficient care while meeting productivity goals.

The requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program (BSN preferred), current RN license, a minimum of three years nursing experience with leadership, and BLS/ACLS/PALS within 90 days of hire. Strong human relations and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Chief Nursing Officer in the delivery of safe, quality and cost efficient care by having competent staff members in the Med Surg and Outpatient Departments.
• Insures efficient utilization of available resources and meets productivity and/or financial goals.
• Meets customer service satisfaction goals.
• Works collaboratively with other administrative personnel, physicians and staff to enhance communication and improve processes across the continuum.
