Job description

ODDITY is a consumer-tech company that builds and scales digital-first brands to disrupt offline-dominated categories. In less than five years since launch, we have built three of the fastest-growing online beauty and wellness brands in the US — IL MAKIAGE, SpoiledChild, and Methodiq.

Our first brand, IL MAKIAGE, reached more than $300 million in revenue and 40 million users in only four years. ODDITY New Ventures built and launched our second brand, SpoiledChild, in early 2022, and it is already scaling even faster than IL MAKIAGE. Our third brand, Methodiq, is disrupting the prescription skincare market and is on track to be ODDITY’s biggest brand yet. As of 2023, ODDITY is a publicly traded company and was named a TIME100 Most Influential Company.

Our continued success is driven by a winning mindset and the combination of unparalleled physical and technology products. We have made significant investments in data science, AI, computer vision, and biotechnology to identify consumer needs and develop differentiated solutions across beauty and wellness.

Our proprietary computer vision technology enables smartphone cameras to capture hyperspectral wavelengths of light beyond the capability of the human eye. In 2023, ODDITY acquired Revela, a biotechnology start-up that uses AI-based molecule discovery to bring next-generation, proprietary ingredients to the beauty and wellness market.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and entrepreneurial Manager to join ODDITY’s New Ventures team.

The New Ventures team is responsible for identifying, developing, and launching the next growth engines for ODDITY. As a member of this team, you will evaluate new products, categories, technologies, companies, and business models, leveraging ODDITY’s powerhouse brands, proprietary technology, and unparalleled consumer data.

Your first mandate will be dedicated to the development and launch of ODDITY’s fourth brand. You will join the project at an early stage and operate as a true generalist, helping to build the brand and its underlying business infrastructure from the ground up.

This will be a highly hands-on role with broad and evolving responsibilities. Rather than owning a single function, you will move across the business based on its most urgent needs—jumping into areas such as customer service, marketing, operations, supply chain, product, growth, and go-to-market. You may help design a customer service model one week, solve an operational or supply-chain challenge the next, and then support a new marketing or growth initiative.

You will be expected to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar areas, identify what needs to be built, create the initial strategy and processes, and drive execution until the function is ready to scale or transition to a dedicated team. The role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable developing a strategic recommendation, creating a process from scratch, and personally stepping in to get the work done.

While Brand 4 will be your initial focus, you will be a core member of the broader New Ventures team and will contribute over time to additional opportunities and strategic workstreams across the New Ventures portfolio.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a cross-functional jack-of-all-trades supporting the end-to-end development and launch of ODDITY’s fourth brand
  • Take full ownership over some of the business’s highest-priority needs, diving deeply into completely new topics, developing a bulletproof plan, and driving towards a quick outcome
  • Build critical business functions from scratch, which may include customer service, marketing, operations, supply chain, product, growth, and go-to-market.
  • Identify and assess M&A opportunities
  • Lead additional assigned strategic initiatives / workstreams within the New Ventures portfolio
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization—including ODDITY Labs, brand teams, and marketing—and drive projects forward
  • Work closely with senior leadership to execute against the company’s strategic objectives
Who You Are
  • At least 1-3 years of full-time experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, high-growth start-up, or similar high-intensity role
  • Strong analytical skills with a bias for insights and strong attention to detail
  • High level of individual ownership and personal accountability, with an ability to drive several parallel workstreams and manage shifting priorities
  • A self-starter with a desire to win – someone who is exceptionally comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage many different stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Passionate about consumer products and trends
