Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a dynamic leader to manage Sales Ambassadors across Retail and Photo units. You will guide a large team, ensure exceptional guest service and contribute to overall park revenue and operations.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, a business-related degree or equivalent, and strong MS Office skills. Expect interactions with ambassadors, vendors, and guests, with opportunities to develop future leaders within a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience.
• Three years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a large team of Sales Ambassadors within Retail and Photo business units.
• Ensure Ambassadors are engaging guests and positively impacting service scores (GSAT).
• Foster a team environment and develop future leaders by sharing knowledge and setting an example.
• Manage revenue, labor, and expenses for assigned locations.
• Help create and activate incremental revenue opportunities.
• Oversee cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Coach and correct ambassador behaviors as needed.
• Turn negative guest experiences into positive ones.
• Communicate professionally with Ambassadors, Vendors, and Guests.
• Collaborate with third-party Revenue Partners to drive revenue.
• Oversee store changeouts and in-park event setups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Get To Do

• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and Guests.
• Work with third-party Revenue Partners to drive revenue.
• Oversee and participate in store changeouts, and in-park event setups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What It Takes To Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience.
• Three (3) years management and/or supervisory experience, preferred setting in a theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.
• Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

What Else Is Important

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Available to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
