Job Description
Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Manages and oversees Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Provides technical expertise, manages relationships with operational leaders and staff. Directs project staff, maintains work plans, and ensures reporting needs are met. Responsible for staff performance, coaching, development, and career growth.

  1. Manage Data management, Tools & Technology work streams daily.
  2. Allocate new report/project requests and distribute workload.
  3. Coordinate with Medical Economics team for data analysis and database development.
  4. Review and improve business logic and data sources.
  5. Mentor and support staff with analysis questions.
  6. Review analyst work products for accuracy and clarity.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and project documentation.
  8. Maintain reporting service level benchmarks.
  9. Represent Medical Economics in cross-departmental meetings.
  10. Serve as liaison between EIM and Medical Economics for reporting needs.
  11. Create reports for strategic, financial, and medical management analysis.
  12. Maintain positive interactions with Health Plan and Corporate personnel.
Job Qualifications
Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or related field.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years management or team leadership experience.
  • Preferably 10 years’ experience with claims data or in healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Power BI.
  • Familiar with relational databases and SDLC concepts.
Preferred Education

Master's Degree in related fields.

Preferred Experience
  • 3–5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Population Health/Clinical Analytics.
  • Experience in Clinical Program Evaluation.
  • Experience building clinical targeting models for Case Management.
  • Interest or experience in Python/PySpark.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in healthcare analytics.
  • Motivated to learn and expand skills.

Pay Range: $88,453 - $165,000 annually. Compensation varies based on location, experience, education, and skills.
