Job Description
Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Manages and provides oversight of Medical Economics Team activities and personnel.
  • Provides technical expertise and manages relationships with operational leaders and staff.
  • Directs staff projects, maintains internal and project work plans.
  • Responsible for staff timekeeping, performance coaching, and career development.

Additional responsibilities include managing data management, tools & technology work streams, resource allocation, coordinating with teams, reviewing business logic, mentoring staff, ensuring accuracy of work products, reviewing regulatory reporting, maintaining service benchmarks, representing the department in meetings, and creating reports for strategic analysis.

Job Qualifications
Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience
  • 3+ years management or team leadership experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience with claims data and/or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SDLC concepts.
Preferred Education

Master's Degree in related fields.

Preferred Experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Population Health/Clinical Analytics, Clinical Program Evaluation, and building clinical targeting models.
  • Interest or experience in Python/PySpark.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in healthcare analytics and self-motivation to learn.
