True Anomaly builds innovative technology at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and AI to enhance the capabilities of the U.S., its allies, and commercial partners. We safeguard global security by ensuring space access and sustainability for all.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

As our Manager, Media Production, you will be responsible for end-to-end content production that tells the story of True Anomaly’s core technologies, products, brand, people, and culture. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead the production of video and photo content that engages our audience across our marketing channels, including website, social and professional networking, content platforms, and media materials. This role will lead digital content planning and execution, including scripting, planning and production, shooting, editing, and post-production across both video and photography. The ideal candidate has a passion for both physical and software products, with experience interfacing with a wide range of engineering, design, and executive functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute video and digital content projects from start to finish, focusing on aligning our technology and product stories with strategic growth across our digital channels.
  • Lead end-to-end content production, across both videography and photography, including creative development, scripting, planning, hosting interviews, shooting, editing, and post-production.
  • Collaborate with company executives, as well as engineering, design, and production leads, to capture and convey the inside story of True Anomaly’s products, technologies, mission, culture, and industry impact.
  • Translate complex technical details into highly compelling, short-form video content and photography.
  • Project manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content supports broader marketing goals and assists in the growth of our digital presence.
  • Optimize content for various digital platforms and channels, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
  • As needed, source qualified production contractors to support on-set production.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record of telling technology stories that translate highly technical product details into consumer-facing content. 7-10 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn about technical products and the ability to translate these products into engaging, short-form video content and photography assets.
  • Ability to creatively navigate content capture with limited support while delivering strong video, audio, and photography results.
  • Comfortable working with limited oversight and capable of planning and executing autonomously and confidently.
  • Proficient with video editing and production software (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Lightroom, etc.).
  • Experience in animation/motion graphics with After Effects and Cinema 4D a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace or a related technical field a plus.

COMPENSATION

  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location: this is a hybrid role and is eligible to work from either our Denver, CO, or Long Beach, CA facilities.
