Job Description

Position Purpose: Manage meat cutters, wrappers, and packers to ensure efficient meat processing, meeting work order specifications and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards, maintaining smooth product flow. Serve as a team member and perform duties to serve the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff, including staffing, training, coaching, payroll, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Manage statistical reports (net yield, usage, capital expenditure requests), pricing, buying, and product rotation.
• Review work schedules, oversee safety checks, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Secure equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
• Coordinate team efforts for meat cutting, wrapping, and packing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. 4-6 years in meat operations, including meat cutting, wrapping, and packaging, with team lead or supervisory experience.
