Job Summary

The Manager, Market Access will support the development and execution of reimbursement, coverage, payment, and health economic initiatives that enable patient access to Recor Medical therapies. This individual will serve as a key project leader across multiple market access initiatives, partnering closely with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, Sales, Health Economics, and external consultants. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of independently managing multiple cross-functional projects. This role will contribute to reimbursement strategy development while taking primary responsibility for executing tactical initiatives, developing customer-facing resources, supporting payer engagement activities, and maintaining market access tools and evidence.

Reimbursement & Coverage
  • Support the development and execution of reimbursement and coverage initiatives for Recor Medical products.
  • Monitor changes in Medicare, commercial payer, and health policy landscapes and communicate relevant implications to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain reimbursement roadmaps, coding resources, payer policy trackers, and coverage databases.
  • Assist with payer submissions, coding analyses, and reimbursement strategy implementation.
Project Leadership
  • Independently lead multiple Market Access projects from planning through execution while meeting established timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of market access deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors supporting reimbursement, health economics, and policy initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, track milestones, identify risks, and communicate progress to leadership.
Health Economics & Evidence
  • Support development and maintenance of health economic models, budget impact analyses, and value communication tools.
  • Collaborate with Health Economics and Clinical Affairs teams to translate clinical evidence into reimbursement and value messaging.
  • Assist in the preparation of value dossiers, economic presentations, and payer evidence packages.
Market Access Resources
  • Develop and maintain reimbursement guides, coding documents, FAQs, training materials, and customer-facing reimbursement resources.
  • Support creation of field reimbursement tools and educational materials.
  • Prepare presentations for internal leadership, sales meetings, physician education programs, and advisory boards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial Operations.
  • Support field reimbursement education by responding to reimbursement questions and developing educational materials.
  • Participate in advisory boards, congresses, and professional society meetings as needed.
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor reimbursement trends, payer policies, coding updates, and competitor market access activities.
  • Summarize reimbursement intelligence and provide actionable insights to Market Access leadership.
  • Support analyses of reimbursement opportunities and potential barriers to adoption.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Contribute to departmental process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree (MPH, MBA, MHA, Health Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field) preferred.
Experience
  • 4–8 years of experience in Market Access, Reimbursement, Health Economics, Health Policy, Provider Relations, or related healthcare field.
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting reimbursement strategy, coding, coverage, payment, or health economic initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects.
Preferred Knowledge
  • Medicare and commercial payer reimbursement.
  • CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, APC, MS-DRG, and physician payment methodologies.
  • Coverage policy development and payer decision-making.
  • Health economic principles and value communication.
  • Reimbursement pathways for innovative medical technologies.
  • Budget impact and cost-effectiveness methodologies.

Salary range: $120,904 - $145,000 (Annual Base Salary)

Salary Range: Compensation for this role is determined using market-based geographic pay ranges. The salary range offered to the selected candidate may vary based on their primary work location, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

Certain field-based roles at Recor Medical require work in environments where radiation sources (e.g., x-ray equipment) are in use. Employees in these roles will be issued a personal dosimetry badge to monitor occupational exposure and are required to wear it in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory standards. This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
