Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager of Operations & Manufacturing in its Private Equity Performance Improvement team to help portfolio companies optimize manufacturing and distribution. The role involves understanding facilities, lifting efficiency, and guiding transformation programs.

You will collaborate with C‑suite executives and PE operating partners to drive value creation, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and modern manufacturing practices across the US.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution functions.
• Ability to work with C-suite executives and private equity partners.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive understanding of target’s manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Evaluate maintainability and operability of production facilities.
• Review data to understand efficiency, capacity, and production numbers.
• Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers.
