Job Description

The Leeding Builders Group, a division of AECOM, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team of construction professionals.

  1. Provides overall management and administration to projects, establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
  2. Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all aspects of the project are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
  3. This position has significant profit/loss responsibility for the assigned construction project.
About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)

Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. Founded on a reputation of professionalism and quality, with the financial backing of AECOM, we are one of New York City's premier builders.

As a separately branded entity of the AECOM Construction Management group, LBG operates independently with its own management structures and resources.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of MEP construction management experience or demonstrated equivalent experience and education.
Preferred Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in construction, specifically in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
  • Experience with large General Contractors.
  • Knowledge of construction project management software (e.g., CMIC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience in high-rise construction.
  • Experience with construction documentation such as change orders, RFPs, RFIs, etc.
Additional Information
  • This position does not include sponsorship for US work authorization now or in the future.
  • Qualified applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This position does not include relocation assistance.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $119,569.95 - $221,204.40.
