Job summary

SDL Search Partners in Boston is hiring a Manager of Investment Accounting / Reporting / Process Improvement to lead a growing team on the Investment Operations group. You will drive AI initiatives, automate workflows, and oversee portfolio accounting, reporting and compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in investment accounting, strong Excel skills, and a track record of collaborating with leadership and external partners; CPA is a plus and the position offers a hybrid Boston work environment

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Investment Accounting / Reporting within Asset Management.
• Experience developing AI tools for process improvement.
• Strong Excel proficiency; data visualization or coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rollout of AI initiatives and automated systems for process improvement.
• Management of the Investment Operations and Financial Reporting team (Junior & Experienced Associates).
• Oversight of all process & workflow as it relates to Portfolio Accounting, Reporting, and Compliance.
• Business partnering with internal leadership and external contacts (regulatory authorities, financial institutions).
• Cash management, forecasting & analysis.

Top Investment Firm headquartered in Boston is hiring for an add-to-staff opening on their Investment / Portfolio Operations team. This role will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Involved in and responsible for rollout of AI initiatives and automated systems for process improvement, efficiency,
• Management of the Investment Operations and Financial Reporting team (Junior & Experienced Associates)
• Responsible for oversight of all process & workflow as it relates to Portfolio Accounting, Reporting, and Compliance
• Business Partnering with both internal leadership and external contacts (regulatory authorities, financial institutions)
• Cash Management, forecasting & analysis

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Investment Accounting / Reporting / Operations within Asset Management
• Experience working with / developing AI tools for process improvement is required
• Strong Excel is required, experience with data visualization tools or coding language is a plus
• CPA is a plus, Big 4 experience is a plus (not required)
