Job summary

Jobtailor in Denton, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily distribution operations. You will input data into the WMS, manage inventory, and ensure accurate cycle counts while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
• Develops and implements an effective product locator system and updates it as necessary.
• Delegates work and responsibility to subordinates.
• Oversees scheduled shifts and evaluates the work of inventory staff and subordinates.
• Analyzes daily cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.
• Audits the daily error report and makes corrections as necessary.
• Drives process improvements and prepares monthly reports signifying major problems and updates on projects or assignments.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 4 years’ experience in Distribution/Logistics experience.
• 2 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment in a supervisory role.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, can range from mild to moderate.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
