Job summary

Walsworth is seeking an Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead IT systems, DevOps engineers, and multi-cloud operations. You will own availability, disaster recovery, patching, backups, and cost management while driving security controls and SOC 2 compliance across multiple sites.

You will coordinate major incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and partner with production teams to minimize disruption, ensuring reliable, scalable infrastructure and governance for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field with 5+ years (Bachelor's) or 8+ years (Associate) of infrastructure/ops experience.
• Experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or priorities.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, backup/recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT systems and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, staffing, performance, on-call/escalation, and development.
• Own infrastructure availability, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, lifecycle, cloud operations, and technical debt reduction.

• Ensure infrastructure controls satisfy security and SOC 2 requirements including access, logging, vulnerability, change, backup, and evidence expectations.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, inventory, standards, dependencies, and recovery documentation.
• Manage infrastructure/cloud vendors, licensing, costs, and service performance.
• Partner with production/business teams to schedule changes and minimize operational disruption.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Lead overall IT systems and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, staffing, performance, on call/escalation, and development.
• Own infrastructure availability, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, lifecycle, cloud operations, and technical debt reduction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience; OR
• Associate degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience.
• Prior experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or operational priorities.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, backup/recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and security standards.
