Job summary

Walsworth is seeking an Infrastructure & Operations Manager to oversee reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure across servers, multi-cloud platforms, backup/recovery, and core services. You will lead DevOps engineers, align priorities, and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, CS, Information Systems, or related field with five years of related infra, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology ops experience.
• Or an associate degree in a related field and eight years of related infra experience.
• Prior experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or operational priorities.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, backup/recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT systems and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, staffing, performance, on call/escalation, and development.
• Own infrastructure availability, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, lifecycle, cloud operations, and technical debt reduction.
• Coordinate major incidents, root-cause analysis, changes, maintenance windows, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Ensure infrastructure controls satisfy security and SOC 2 requirements including access, logging, vulnerability, change, backup, and evidence expectations.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, inventory, standards, dependencies, and recovery documentation.
• Manage infrastructure/cloud vendors, licensing, costs, and service performance.
• Partners with production/business teams to schedule changes and minimize operational disruption.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

As the Infrastructure & Operations Manager, you will be accountable for reliable, secure, supportable infrastructure and operational execution across servers, multi-cloud platforms, backup/recovery, core services, DevOps/platform operations, and multi-site production technology dependencies.

Essential Functions:

• Lead overall IT systems and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, staffing, performance, on call/escalation, and development.
• Own infrastructure availability, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, lifecycle, cloud operations, and technical debt reduction.
• Coordinate major incidents, root-cause analysis, changes, maintenance windows, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Ensure infrastructure controls satisfy security and SOC 2 requirements including access, logging, vulnerability, change, backup, and evidence expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience; OR
• Associate degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience.
• Prior experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or operational priorities.
