Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a capable Store Manager/Supervisor to lead daily store operations in Newport, KY. The role includes a required 5-week management training with performance metrics, recruiting and developing staff, and driving sales while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

You will be responsible for meeting performance metrics, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with banking, safety, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to effectively motivate others
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked, and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics
