Job summary

The Rocket stores in Washington is seeking a Manager-In-Training to join our full-time team. The MIT will complete a structured training program under supervision of the Store Manager and learn to manage daily store operations, supervise staff, and ensure a positive customer experience.

This role offers a benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401K plan, tuition reimbursement, and a 90-day performance-based raise, with opportunities to advance to a Store Manager

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a supervisor, lead or assistant manager in a retail or fast food environment.
• Ability to coach, train and develop your team.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid and infraction-free Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
• Ability to occasionally push and pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds (hand-truck).
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials.

Responsibilities

• Complete training program under supervision and learn to manage daily store operations.
• Direct and supervise daily operations of the store.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members.
• Follow United Pacific policies and procedures.
• On-the-job training provided before transitioning into Store Manager role.
