Job summary

Gildan is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the day-to-day HR function at our Clarkton, NC manufacturing facility. You will partner with plant leadership to meet people needs, provide HR direction on recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, and oversee timekeeping and payroll processes in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

The role emphasizes on-floor engagement, policy administration, and helping teammates thrive while supporting the Gildan brand and community involvement.

Qualifications

• BS degree in HR or related field is strongly preferred.
• HRCI or SHRM HR certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive HR leadership in a 24/7 manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (PeopleSoft, Dayforce, ADP preferred).
• Advanced computer competency in MS Office Suite and other systems is required.

The HR Manager supports the manufacturing effort by working with other business leaders to accomplish company gaols and business objectives. The work environment is a fully automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that operates on a 24/7 schedule and employs approximately 160 associates. The HR Manager reports to the Director of HR for US Manufacturing.

The role

• Support the manufacturing team by providing HR expertise and direction
• Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of talent for the facility

The requirement
