Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Tax practice in San Francisco. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to a range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to growing businesses, collaborating on ASC 740 calculations and tax provisions.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee client relationships, and be responsible for delivering high-quality tax guidance while tracking billing, collections, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM with approved credentials.
• Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, ASC 740, and tax provisions; experience with operating partnerships.
• Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to explain complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and operating partnerships for diverse clients.
• Collaborate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.
• Lead teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects and oversee workflows.
• Oversee client portfolios, manage relationships, and ensure high-quality tax service delivery.
• Manage risk and financial performance, including billing, collections, and budgets.
