Job description

As the Manager, Global Logistics and Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing the global logistics operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing the supply chain process. This role will manage a team of logistics professionals, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and work closely with external partners to ensure the timely and cost‑effective delivery of products. This role requires a strong background in global logistics, compliance, and supply chain management, with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure adherence to local and international regulations.

What You Will Do

• Makes HTS classification for products in development and provides guidance.
• Monitors industry news for tariffs, trade agreements.
• Develops, monitors, and updates the Import Compliance Manual.
• Reviews and determines import/export requirements for business segment initiatives.
• Develops and monitors compliance/SOP manuals.
• Uses ACE/CARM knowledge for reporting/monitoring.
• Conducts customs compliance training, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
• Manages the internal HTS database.
• Assists with trade documentation compliance.
• Works cross‑functionally with Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Shipping, and Warehousing to inform, train, enforce, and monitor compliance matters.
• Manages relationships with ocean carriers, air forwarders, dray carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers regarding compliance.
• Manages contractual obligations and SOP between customs brokers and Jazwares.
• Propels continual process improvement, cost savings, and best practices.
• Develops and improves processes, including customs documentation and reporting, providing interpretation of company policies and procedures.
• Supports investigations related to the team, proactively identifying compliance gaps and required corrective actions.
• Raises awareness of general export/import control issues through focused communications and training efforts.

Supervisor Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all aspects of talent management for their team. The Manager will lead people management, including hiring, development, and performance management.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or another relevant field is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in global logistics, supply chain management, and compliance.
• Experience with the ACE platform.
• Certifications: Customs Brokerage, International Compliance, and optionally Importing compliance.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs requirements, and compliance best practices.
• Proven experience managing complex global logistics operations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools such as TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team.

The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for an annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi‑state employer, so salary ranges may not apply to other states.
