Job summary

Trinity Life Sciences seeks a seasoned forecasting professional to manage end-to-end client engagements in life sciences forecasting. You will guide senior stakeholders, lead forecast model builds, and develop modules across Trinity while ensuring quality control and timely delivery.

The role combines leadership of junior staff with deep analytical work, partnering with commercial leaders to shape product strategy, resources, and investments.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in quantitative, business, or related fields.
  • Deep forecasting expertise across commercial demand forecasting and related cycles.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying patient-based and operational forecasts.
  • Experience partnering with leaders to inform strategy and investments.
  • Ability to lead forecast development through planning cycles and scenario analyses.

Job description

What You’ll Do
Manage entire client engagements including internal and external communication and work streams
  • Manage junior staff

  • Serve as client point of contact

  • Lead forecast model builds and forecasting activities

  • Work closely with leadership members to develop forecasting best practices and modules across Trinity

  • Assist in creating and implementing quality control best practices

  • Deliver engagement outcomes to clients, exercising sound business judgment, proactively following up on tasks as needed and managing tasks through to completion

  • Provide on-site support to clients when applicable

  • Work closely with other functional experts at Trinity including market research, data solutions, statistics, etc.

  • Develop client-ready forecasts and supporting materials independently and clearly present findings

  • Establish timelines for internal and external deliverables

  • Drive internal communication to keep all team members in the loop with project status

  • Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned

  • Help train junior members of forecasting team

What You’ll Bring
5-6 years of work experience in life sciences forecasting. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and analytics is preferred.
  • BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields

  • Deep forecasting expertise across commercial demand forecasting, business development valuations, net present value (NPV) assessments, supporting long-range and short-range strategic planning cycles.

  • Experience in designing, building, and deploying patient-based, patient flow, and operational forecasts.

  • Experience partnering with commercial and business leaders to develop forecasts that inform product strategy, resource allocation, investment decisions, and portfolio planning.

  • Ability to lead forecast development through annual planning, latest estimate cycles, and scenario-based analyses while communicating insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong quantitative and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to connect forecast outcomes to broader business objectives.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with MS Excel (knowledge of VBA is preferred)

  • Superb internal and external communications skills (verbal and written)

  • Self-motivation, initiative, and innovation

  • Strong, service-oriented work ethic and willing to go above the call of duty

  • Internal leadership and mentorship

  • Strong team player with experience working in project-team environments

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 - $175,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
