  • Deep knowledge of pricing dynamics and payer/provider types.
  • Working knowledge of essential and advanced consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent analytics skills and numeric capabilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication in English.
  • Ability to source reimbursement data via PubMed/Medline, Google Scholar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of systematic review methods and clinical trial standards.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the team along all dimensions of engagement work for internal and external interactions.
  • Conduct secondary research to inform initial hypotheses and findings/recommendations.
  • Support the team on pricing dynamics and market knowledge leadership.
  • Conduct analyses involving sales value, volume, pricing, and other quantitative dimensions.
  • Prepare the team for primary research interviews with KOLs, payers, and other authorities.
  • Collate findings from primary research interviews for review.
  • Recruit relevant respondents for primary research programs.
  • When possible, conduct interviews with primary research respondents.
  • Develop findings slides in PowerPoint representing key learnings.

Position Summary

Trinity Life Sciences is seeking hard-working, committed, and intellectually curious individuals who are passionate about the life sciences. At Trinity, Consultants are an integral part of two or more project teams at a time, comprised of staff, management, and leadership team members. Consultants will have exposure to a wide variety of strategic business issues, as well as the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, ranging from small biotech companies to large pharmaceutical organizations. Consultants develop their skills through extensive formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to stretch their analytical, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare the team along all dimensions of engagement work in preparation for both internal and external interactions
  • Conduct secondary research to inform initial hypotheses and eventual findings/recommendations
  • Support the team from a therapeutic area/market dynamics knowledge leadership position, informing the team of environmental issues while having key resources on rapid recall as needed
  • Conduct analyses involving sales value, volume, pricing, and other quantitative dimensions
  • Prepare the team for all primary research interviews with KOLs, payers, and other knowledge authorities relevant to the engagement at hand
  • Collate findings from primary research interviews in an organized, systematic fashion for easy review and interpretation by other team members
  • Recruit relevant respondents for participation in primary research programs
  • When appropriate and possible, conduct interviews with primary research respondents
  • Develop findings slides in PowerPoint that represent key learnings from primary and secondary research, as well as internal team analysis
What You'll Bring
  • 3-4 years as a top performer within a top-tier biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical strategy consulting firm serving industry leading clients on related business questions
  • Deep knowledge of pricing dynamics, with demonstrated understand of different payer/provider types (and related access nuance), as well as trends within the industry
  • Working knowledge of essential and advanced consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent analytics skills and numeric capabilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English language
  • Ability using PubMed/Medline, Google Scholar, research platforms to source reimbursement data
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Outlook)
  • General understanding of systematic review methods, clinical research design, and applicable standards and regulations for clinical trials
  • High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills
  • Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. The base salary range for this role is $96k-$144k per year. Compensation is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related education and training, location, and internal equity. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
