Job summary

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking a Manager of Food and Beverage to oversee all concessions, premium, catering, and warehouse operations at Segra Stadium. You will report to the Director of Food and Beverage and lead a team of seasonal staff to deliver exceptional fan experiences during baseball games and non-baseball events.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, monitoring performance, managing costs, ensuring food safety, and coordinating with multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in food and beverage management, preferably with high-volume operations.
• Experience supervising large teams during events and game days.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.

This position reports to the Director, Food and Beverage.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal employeesMonitor staff performance as it relates to speed of service, quality of product, and guest relations to deliver an exceptional fan experience.Manage cost as it pertains to labor, food and beverage, operating supplies, etc, working within established budgetsMaintain proper safety and sanitation procedures and create a working relationship with local health officialsExecute a schedule to ensure proper repair, maintenance, and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipmentWork closely with multiple sub- contractors and non- profit groupsAssist in conducting monthly inventory and the ordering and receiving of food and beverage productsWork closely with the Director, F&B to create an expansive menu with classic, exciting, creative, and affordable optionsImplement action plan in response to guest satisfaction surveys and secret shopper reportsPerform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry (high- volume, concessions experience preferred), to include the management of a large staffStrong working knowledge of all facets of the food and beverage industry, including but not limited to food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, responsible beverage serviceExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influenceFamiliarity with various POS and BOH systems and the ability to troubleshoot these systems when neededPassion for providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work all Fayetteville Woodpeckers home games and non- baseball events
