Hours will vary based on the game and event schedule and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to work all home games and arrive up to one (1) hour prior to game time. **Contract Type:** Part-Time, Seasonal, Non-Exempt **Location:** Fayetteville, North Carolina**About the Fayetteville Woodpeckers:**The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros and play their home games at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since 2019, the organization has been committed to delivering exceptional fan experiences, supporting player development, and serving the local community. The Woodpeckers are proud members of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), the largest owner and operator of Minor League Baseball clubs in North America, offering employees opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.**Position Overview:**The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Director, Marketing and Marketing team to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, and in-game promotional efforts. This role will contribute to both digital engagement and in-person fan interaction, helping to bring the Woodpeckers brand to life in the community and at the ballpark.**Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:*** Digital & Social Media + Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. + Monitor and respond to fan comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner. + Maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent and relevant messaging.* Game Day & Event Marketing + Support game day marketing operations, including promotions, fan engagement activities, and in-game execution. + Assist with press operations, ticket distribution, and fan-facing activations. + Capture and support real-time content creation during games and events.* Grassroots & Community Marketing + Represent the team at community events and grassroots marketing initiatives to promote upcoming games and events. + Assist in executing local outreach efforts to build brand awareness and drive attendance.* Content & Creative Support + Assist with the creation of marketing collateral, graphics, and behind-the-scenes content. + Maintain and organize digital assets, including image and video libraries. + Support cross-functional marketing needs including PR, sponsorships, and special events.**Competencies:*** Social media and digital communication* Creativity and content development* Organization and time management* Customer service and fan engagement* Teamwork and collaboration* Adaptability in a fast-paced environment\*\* Required Education and Experience:\*\** Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok).* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience creating content for social media or digital platforms.* Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).* Prior experience in sports, events, or customer-facing roles.* General knowledge of baseball or sports industry.\*\*Work Environment: \*\*This position operates in both an office setting and a high-energy outdoor stadium environment.
