Job summary

Prudential is seeking a strategic Finance & Accounting leader to oversee SOX and MAR controls across PGIM. The role supports risk and control transformations, fosters a culture of integrity, and collaborates with Internal Audit, Regulatory teams, and PwC.

The position requires an on-site presence three days a week, with details provided by the manager. CPA is preferred and expertise in financial reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating design and operating effectiveness of controls (SOX/MAR).
• Ability to scope and recommend coverage for financial controls.
• Resident expert in internal controls over financial reporting.
• Knowledge of PGIM and Prudential reporting close processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for PGIM's SOX and MAR controls.
• Assist in identifying, designing and testing controls for strategic initiatives.
• Analyze control issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Operational Risk & Compliance, and PwC for alignment and execution.
• Act as trusted advisor, building stakeholder relationships and upholding integrity.
