Job summary

Enlyte is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead the company’s financial reporting, accounting policy, and technical accounting functions under U.S. GAAP.

You will prepare and deliver financial statements, disclosures, debt-holder reporting, and other external reports, partnering with cross-functional teams. You will advise leadership, collaborate with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Treasury and external auditors to address complex issues and strategic transactions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing audited financial statements and researching technical accounting issues.
• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Oversee external reporting, debt-holder and covenant reporting obligations.
• Prepare materials for executive leadership, Audit Committee, and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.
• Lead research and analysis of complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards and advise on implications.

Job Description

The Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting leads the Company's financial reporting, accounting policy, and technical accounting functions. This role is responsible for the preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, debt-holder reporting, and other external reporting requirements while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Serving as a key advisor to leadership, this position partners closely with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and external auditors to support complex accounting matters, strategic transactions, and future capital markets initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing reporting capabilities and building scalable processes to support the Company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee external reporting requirements, including debt-holder and covenant reporting obligations.
• Prepare materials for executive leadership, the Audit Committee, and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.

Technical Accounting & Strategic Transactions

• Lead research and analysis of complex accounting matters and business transactions.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and accounting position papers.
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards.
• Advise leadership on accounting implications related to debt financings, capital markets activities, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic initiatives.
• Support hedge accounting and related disclosures under ASC 815.

Audit, Compliance & Leadership

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors on reporting and technical accounting matters.
• Maintain accounting policies and documentation supporting key accounting judgments.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner effectively with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, and FP&A leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing audited financial statements and researching technical accounting issues.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred

• Big Four or national public accounting experience.
• Experience supporting public company or public debt reporting requirements.
• Experience with debt financing transactions, capital markets activities, or bond offerings.
• SaaS or high-growth company experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 - $128,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
