BrightSpring Home Based Primary Care owns and operates various entities in Primary Care, including a Medical Services company, Population Health Management services, and a Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP).

Overview

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager supports these entities by providing high-quality financial and analytical support to meet business needs and objectives. The primary focus will be on supporting the Medicare Advantage I-SNP, collaborating with clinical and operations staff on initiatives such as quality improvement, reporting, clinical informatics, and strategic models to optimize services across all lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Update, validate, and communicate the impact of strategic operational changes to senior management and company operations.
  • Develop, improve, and manage KPI & analytical models and reporting, including visualization through Excel, PowerBI, or other tools.
  • Prepare forecasting and recasting analyses, audit data, model assumptions, and collaborate with leadership to validate assumptions.
  • Build pro formas for new growth decisions and tracking tools.
  • Assist in developing strategic presentations for budgets, MOR, sales, and operational changes.
  • Support member reconciliation, Part D reconciliation, LIS tracking, rebate tracking, claim subrogation, and reinsurance claims.
  • Prepare statutory filings, actuarial reports, annual financial audits, and other audit engagements.
  • Advise management on budgeting objectives and process development.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including gathering inputs and assumptions.
  • Prepare and submit monthly accounting entries.
  • Review and analyze P&L statements with variance explanations.
  • Collaborate with management and auditors to assess risks and develop controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • At least five years of progressive financial experience, especially in strategic analysis/reporting within managed care, Medicare/Medicaid, or health insurance.
  • Experience in regulated environments supporting government reporting with high integrity and accuracy.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within corporate settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Expertise in data analytics, Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexible, approachable, and adaptable to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.
