Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops and executes processes for budgeting/forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting, including sales and PI utilization and gross margin and OPEX analytics.
- Prepare and present executive level management reports and perform variance analysis against plan/budget to influence attainment of Company goals and ensure accountability by department leaders for financial results vs. plan.
- Plans and executes Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and ensures all presenters provide timely and accurate data and value-added analysis to maximize the effectiveness of MBRs against objectives.
- Acts as a strategic partner to leaders across the company to provide value-added information and data and to influence decision making.
- Partners with Accounting leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Partners with IT and Commercial Operations leadership to develop tools and systems to automate and improve reporting processes and data analytics and optimize sales and other relevant databases.
- Understands all aspects of SONX financial statements and can communicate complex topics in terms understood by non-financial leaders.
- Develops expert level understanding of dental industry, understands and communicates relative industry benchmarks, reports on industry actions, and presents findings to management.
- Develops complex analyses and financial models, as needed, to support sound financial business decisions utilizing statistical tools and scenario analysis, including external benchmarking. Quantifies risks and opportunities and recommends alternatives to senior management.
- Support M&A activities, as needed, by providing forecast and financial modeling tools
- Present financial reports and analysis to senior executives and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business related required.
- 5+ years of work experience in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and/or budgeting required.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) required.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in partnering with and advising cross functional leaders highly .
- Medical device or life science industry experience .
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly
- High degree of sensitivity and discretion in working with confidential information required
- Must have demonstrated detail-oriented work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to process paperwork and utilize office equipment (including personal computer, phone, copiers, etc.).
- Normal sight or corrected vision is required to read documents and use standard computer terminals
Compensation:
We pay competitively. Base salary range is $128,000 - $155,000. Other paid compensation and benefits may be available.
