Position Description:

Motus FP&A is looking for an expert finance professional to join the team as a Manager, FP&A. This team member will focus on improving financial tools, business modeling, and financial planning processes and provide financial insights to help drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Our ideal candidate has outstanding modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills and is looking to join a high-growth SaaS organization. This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and a tight-knit Finance team to drive long-term value and help our organization grow and scale at rapid rates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial board packages that include financial reporting and SaaS KPI metrics
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and develop budget vs. actuals commentary, connecting results and KPIs to provide senior leadership transparency into drivers of business performance.
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports for internal and external collaborators.
  • Use financial and operational data to build sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and budgetary controls.
  • PerformAd hoc support for strategic planning and business case analysis to support the business.
  • Process improvement: Own the implementation and adoption of future-forward FP&A and analytics tools and processes.
  • Assist with M&A diligence efforts (identifying synergies, integration planning, etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA is preferred
  • 3+ years of prior experience, ideally in FP&A at a high-growth private equity-backed SaaS company
  • Experience using Adaptive Planning (required)
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis and expert-level skills using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong sense of personal and professional ethics; strict adherence to guidelines surrounding sensitive information and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and personal drive; able to work independently in a remote work environment
  • Able to balance multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and meet tight deadlines

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
