Job summary

Beacon Mobility Corp. seeks an FP&A Manager to lead reporting, analytics, and data governance across the company. This role focuses on accurate, timely insights and scalable, automatic reporting to support leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 6–10 years FP&A, financial reporting or analytics experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • MBA or CPA preferred; transportation/ multi-site ops experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve enterprise reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting packages.
  • Deliver timely, accurate financial and operational reporting to leadership.
  • Build scalable, automated reporting to improve speed and transparency.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses on trends, variances, and performance drivers.
  • Partner with business leaders to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
  • Drive data governance, standard definitions, and a single source of truth.

The ideal candidate combines financial expertise with strong data and systems capabilities and thrives on turning complex information into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting, Analytics & InsightsOwn and evolve enterprise reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting packagesDeliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial and operational reporting to leadershipBuild and maintain scalable, automated reporting solutions to enhance speed, accuracy, and transparencyAnalyze performance vs. targets, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunitiesLead deep-dive analyses on trends, variances, and operational performanceTranslate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise insights and recommendationsPartner with business leaders to interpret data and drive informed decision-makingData Management & GovernancePartner with IT/Data teams to improve data integrity, accessibility, and governanceEstablish standardized definitions, metrics, and reporting cadences across the organizationDrive development of a “single source of truth” for financial and operational dataImprove data flows between financial systems and operational platformsEnsure consistency and accuracy across reporting outputsBusiness & Operational PartnershipPartner cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, HR, and Talent teamsProvide visibility into commercial, safety, and operational performance metricsUse data and reporting to influence operational decisions and resource allocationProcess Improvement & TechnologyLead enhancements to reporting tools, data models, and BI platformsIdentify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual reportingSimplify and standardize reporting processes across the organizationShift team focus from data gathering to insight generation and value-added analysisPlanning & Forecasting SupportSupport budgeting and forecasting processes through data preparation and reportingMaintain input assumptions and reporting outputs for planning cyclesAssist with scenario analysis and ad hoc financial modeling as neededQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field6–10 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or analytics-focused rolesStrong experience in financial reporting, KPI development, and dashboardingAdvanced Excel skillsDemonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasetsStrong business acumen and ability to communicate insights clearlyExperience supporting operations-heavy or distributed organizationsPreferredMBA or CPAExperience in transportation, services, logistics, or multi-site environmentsExperience with financial systems and data integration projectsFamiliarity with data architecture, data modeling, or reporting infrastructure designCompensationYearly salary of $110,000 - $135,000Annual bonus of 10% of base compensationBeacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
