This role offers ownership of analytical tools and reporting processes, along with close partnership across finance, operations, and IT.
What You'll Own

- Project profitability: Identify trends in project margins, execution, and profitability, including where margins are eroding and where performance can improve.
- Bookings and backlog analysis: Evaluate trends by customer, end market, project type, geography, and operating company to develop indicators of future revenue and margin performance.
- Customer and vendor insights: Assess concentration, purchasing patterns, business mix, and cost exposure to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Performance benchmarking: Develop scorecards and consistent KPIs across operating companies, covering areas such as labor productivity, utilization, pricing, and backlog conversion.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with finance, operations, and data teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and adoption of analytical tools.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, finance analytics, business analytics, strategic finance, or a related role.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of P&L performance, margins, profitability, and operational business drivers.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable business intelligence platform.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into practical recommendations.
- The ability to explain complex analysis clearly to finance teams, operating leaders, and executives.
- SQL and experience automating financial reporting are preferred.
