Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, engineering, or plant operations.
• At least 2 years in healthcare facilities (acute care strongly preferred).
• Certified Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) or willing to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Saint Luke's South Hospital is hiring a Facilities Manager!

Position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, supervise, hire, discipline and make managerial decisions over Facilities plant operators, Maintenance technicians, and Lead Facilities Maintenance Rep. The position is responsible for the Electrical Systems for the main campus building and satellite clinics. Position is also responsible to manage the Nurse Call, Fire Alarm and Pneumatic Tube Systems and to coordinate material deliveries and contractor functions for accurate and timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, engineering, or plant operations
• At least 2 years in healthcare facilities (acute care strongly preferred even at minimum level)
• Certified Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) or willing to obtain to within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
• Facilities Management
• Construction Management
• Business Administration
• Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• Or a related technical/operations field
• Formal leadership experience with demonstrated responsibility for:

• Directly supervising others
• Budget accountability
• Performance management and workforce planning
