Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Manager, Finance – External Reporting to lead SEC filings and external disclosures for a publicly traded company. You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, and audit teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with US GAAP.

The role offers high visibility, opportunities to influence reporting processes, and a path toward broader finance leadership. Target compensation is 130k–150k with growth based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related disclosures.
• Manage external reporting processes and calendars.
• Conduct technical accounting research and prepare memos for complex transactions.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and auditors on external reporting.
• Oversee SOX controls, accounting policies, and staff development in external reporting.

Key Responsibilities for the Manager, Finance – External Reporting:

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related financial disclosures


• Manage external reporting processes, reporting calendars, disclosure controls, tie-outs, etc.


• Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos for complex transactions and emerging accounting matters


• Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and auditors to ensure accurate and consistent external reporting


• Oversee key reporting areas, SOX controls, accounting policies, and staff development within the external reporting function

Qualifications for the Manager, Finance – External Reporting:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA license required


• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including SEC reporting within a publicly traded company


• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements
