Job summary

Bain & Co. in Chicago, IL is seeking a recruiting professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract to partner with hiring managers and HRBPs across the Bain AMERs region.

The role will build candidate pipelines, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and develop repeatable processes while working in a hybrid environment with at least one day in the office each week.

Bain & Co. offers a 12-month fixed term contract role in Chicago, IL (hybrid), partnering closely with hiring managers and HRBPs to strengthen recruiting outcomes and candidate experience across the Bain AMERs Region office locations. You will also contribute to repeatable recruiting processes and help improve shared tools and resources with the ETR team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for a wide range of roles across the business, from junior to senior levels, for Bain AMERs Region office locations (including roles in Finance, Marketing, Operations, and HR)
• Serve as a talent advisor to key stakeholders by bringing innovative recruiting strategies
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through established and new channels
• Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every touchpoint
• Develop collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers and HRBPs
• Provide regular updates on recruitment status to leadership, your supervisor, and HRBPs
• Check in with stakeholders to assess recruiting plan effectiveness and adjust accordingly
• Develop repeatable processes that streamline the recruitment cycle
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date recruiting records in Avature
• Contribute to ETR team projects and help upgrade shared tools and resources
• Take on other duties as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in corporate and in-house environments
• Agile thinker who picks up new functional areas quickly and moves seamlessly across business functions
• Strong track record of stakeholder management, including experience setting and managing expectations
• Sound judgment, discretion, and sensitivity, paired with the ability to adapt to changing needs
• Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Compensation

The good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role in Chicago is $121,750 - $146,250. Placement within these ranges varies based on factors such as experience, education, training, and skill level. Compensation includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service, and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed above).
