LA28 seeks a Manager, Event & Venue Management Workforce & Training in Los Angeles to lead workforce planning and instructional design for Games-time operations. The role oversees end-to-end recruitment for EVM leadership and designs comprehensive training curricula for staff and volunteers.
You will deliver training workshops, coordinate venue training, and report workforce readiness to senior leadership, collaborating with multiple functional areas and partners.

The Event Managementteamis responsible forleading the integrated event operational planning at the venue level for all competitionand some major non-competition venues.The group is also responsible for managing and coordinating the negotiation of venue agreements, the collation and organization of venue-related documentation and data, and the maintenance of strong working relationships with all venue partners.At Games Time, theEventManagement team leads and manages the event teams at venues, event delivery, venue communication, and venue issue resolution.
The Manager, EVM Workforce & Training is a dual-focus leadership role responsible for preparing the Event & Venue Management (EVM) Games-time workforce. This role manages two critical pillars:
The ideal candidate will combine expertise in workforce planning and instructional design with the operational agility required to prepare staff, contractors, and volunteers for flawless Games-time execution.
This position will report to the Vice President, Event & Venue Management.

Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000-$115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
